Understand qualifications
Ask the agent to examine a requirement against the actual RFP and your company's evidence. “Can we bid?” often involves several different questions.
For each requirement, ask for:
- The source clause and page.
- Whether the condition is mandatory, conditional, not applicable or still unclear.
- Any published evaluation points, separate from the requirement to submit or receive an award.
- When it must be satisfied: proposal, award or contract performance, including any trigger.
- What company evidence is available or missing.
- The next action and any question for the issuing agency.
A scored preference is different from a mandatory eligibility condition. A conditional contract obligation can still matter after award. The agent should explain these differences rather than assign a guessed win probability.
Use current company records in Library for supporting evidence. A website, writing sample or old proposal does not establish current certification, staffing, residency or legal status. Tell the agent what is confirmed and what still needs checking. Keep source conflicts and missing facts unresolved; check the issuer's clarification procedure and deadline before seeking an answer.
Keep decisions with your team
- Ask the agent to save the decisions you want to share, with source links, in Plan. Request Tasks for missing evidence you want the team to collect, preserving work already there.
- Use Add to side panel (+) and choose Plan to inspect the saved notes. Open Tasks and check that the requested work appears. An answer in your private chat does not by itself update either shared surface.
- Use confirmed evidence in the Response. Inspect proposed writing before choosing Apply; keep unresolved claims visible until your team has the evidence.
