Work on the response
Start a pursuit when your team decides to work on an opportunity. Keep its official files, shared writing and tasks together.
- Review the opportunity and original sources, then use its pursuit action. If you already have the files, create a pursuit directly.
- Check qualification questions against the originals and your company's evidence. Keep unresolved decisions in Plan.
- Ask the agent to prepare an outline and tasks using the RFP's required sections and relevant Library material.
- When writing is proposed, open Review change and read the full proposal. Choose Apply to accept it or Reject to leave the Response unchanged. Find saved proposals in Changes.
- Open Response to inspect and edit the shared writing. Open Tasks to see the work remaining.
- Check for Saved before leaving. Reopen the same pursuit to continue; do not create a new pursuit for each revision.
An outline is a starting structure, not a completed submission. Ask for focused improvements: “Draft the implementation approach using these two project examples, and flag missing evidence.” Review claims, citations and commitments against the originals.
Your team shares saved Response writing, Plan notes and Tasks. Chat is private. Record internal decisions in Plan; keep the writing intended for the buyer in Response. A proposed change is not part of the saved Response until it has been applied.
If progress stops, check recovery guidance. Repeatedly starting the same work can create confusion and extra cost.
